About
Our Founder
Our founder, Ms. J. Tara Wright exemplifies everything we’ve come to be known for.
She prides herself in her decision to leave the corporate world and has cited this as the best decision she’d ever made.
She’s simply why we do what we do and is the brain behind how far Innovative Work Alternatives have come since inception.
The enterprising Ms. Wright is also the founder and owner of Innovative Marketing Artistry, (IMA) sister company of Innovative Work Alternatives.
IMA, on its own is a results-driven marketing agency. Much of its work centers on helping small businesses unlock their potential for growth and boosting their brand awareness campaigns, sales, and revenue, through a series of time-tested and proven marketing strategies.
Through her resourceful leadership, IWA operates, fully committed to bringing leverage to the corporate world in a variety of ways while still empowering others.
As a parent to a special needs child faced with many challenges, Ms. Wright saw the importance to find a way while she had to combine caring for the medical needs and demands of her child with the demanding nature of working in the corporate world.
She finally walked away from the corporate world in 2011 to launch a full-fledged virtual career.
Since then, she has rediscovered her strengths, collaborated with many positive role models, and has maximized her power to help not just herself but others who envision positive home-based business careers and other flexible work from home opportunities.
Taking that leap of faith, registering and signing up immediately, fate would have it that her first work from home corporate client was one she was all too familiar with, a Fortune 500 company she had just walked away from.
This opportunity allowed her to start her own business and establish a contract servicing the same Fortune 500 company she had just walked away from. Yet this time she was able to work on her own terms. She has since discovered that this was the best decision she’d ever made, and her goal is to educate and empower others to do the same.
With more than twenty years of experience in the corporate arena, business management, entrepreneurial ventures, internet marketing, and work from home field, Ms. Wright has developed an instinct for identifying the inefficiencies and miscommunications that often impede individuals from finding legitimate work from home alternatives online to achieve success.
She assists alternative career seekers in repositioning themselves to consider a strategically focused approach to their work from home business and virtual career opportunities.
She’s not only an entrepreneur; she has successfully exceeded expectations with numerous contractual obligations in the virtual work from home field. Ms. Wright has held contracts with some Fortune 500 organizations as a Client Service Professional, Virtual Chat Support Performance Facilitator, Quality Assurance Performance Facilitator, and Virtual Training Instructor.
In the diversion, since 2011, IWA and its Founder have been sufficiently blessed to not just enroot their organization. The organization has also helped to educate and empower a lot of other people.
IWA still anticipates helping more people to see how they can exploit the many innovative alternatives that awaits them in the global workforce.
While acting as owner and entrepreneur of Innovative Marketing Artistry, Ms. Wright actively pursues a bachelor’s degree in business marketing/internet marketing. Yet, her professional success and achievements are only part of the equation that makes Ms. J. Tara Wright who she is.
Her triumphs have been hard won. Intelligent and articulate, even as a girl, her gifts did not spare her from some youthful bad decisions. She dropped out of high-school, fell in with wild company and embarked on a path that could have been disastrous had she not discovered the fortitude to admit her errors; reverse her course and begin the long climb to a successful life. Along the way, she found love, a wonderful marriage, and motherhood.
The Miracle Child
Little Miss. Grace
“The driving force of my life is my miracle child, Grace,” she says,
Following a complicated pregnancy and a six-week hospital stay, Grace was born prematurely at six months, delicate and medically challenged. Ms. Wright dedicated herself to willing her daughter to live. Through the expertise of Dr. Sophie Womack and others, Grace did survive and today she flourishes despite her difficult beginnings.
However, Ms. Wright’s marriage did not survive the strain, a misfortune she describes as “the loss of one of my driving core reasons, a seemingly great family foundation which took an unfortunate turn yet changed my life for the better.”
“Moving forward as a single mother was another challenge to tackle and overcome,” says Ms. Wright. “Grace is my inspiration. I want to be like her, an inspiration for others, and an example of how beautiful overcoming adversity can be.”
To honor her miracle-child and to share her success with those in need, Ms. J. Tara Wright is proud to be sponsoring many nonprofit causes and networks as an integral part of her business. Children’s Miracle Network, the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and the Epilepsy Foundation are just a few so dear to her and her daughter.
