What type of computer experience do I need?

You must have the capacity to utilize a mouse and PC console. Having the capacity to close and turn on the PC appropriately. Understand how to navigate throughout PC apps, files, and desktop network. Understand how to create, name, save and delete folders with practical knowledge of how to open and close computer programs. Understand how to use email, search engines like Google and the ability to navigate through multiple screens.

Is there a cost to get started?

How much money can I make?

Your revenue income can be as small or as large as you make it. You pick the client you would like to do business with. Some pick their client for the pay rate as it were.

Some like to service clients available 24/7, some choose a client that’s simple to get certified in with less hourly revenue compensation. You set your own calendar and pick when and the amount you work. Your paycheck is dependent upon you!

When will I be paid?

You will be paid on the 14th and 28th of each month via direct deposit.

Provided those dates fall on an end of the week, you will be paid the Friday previously. Or, if one of those dates happen to be a National Holiday, your pay will be processed the following business day. s

If you prefer us to mail you a check, we can. We are however not responsible for checks lost in the mail. A $25.00 check stop expense will be deducted from your compensation for any checks lost that need reissuing. We do offer USPS Certified Mail or Priority Mail for $5.99 if you desire with sign approval or tracking.

Is there pay compensation during certification?

IWA does not pay for time invested during client certification courses.

We are the go-between our platform partner, their clients and the Authorized operators, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, and Freelancers. As an Authorized operator, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor or Freelancer, you oversee and cover any certification training required to position your business to properly service the client from home.

What must I do to get started?

Create a profile and complete the application and admissions process. See complete step by step process to get started here below.

Make sure you have a working computer, phone, and internet connection that will meet guidelines.

See technical requirements here.

Purchase a USB headset for your certification class. This is a headset that plugs into your computer.

Purchase a headset that can plug into your telephone. (Cordless phones are not accepted).

Have or prepare to have a land-line telephone with no features or a digital phone line through your cable or internet company.

You will receive an email once you have joined our team with links to fill out your W9 form and Direct Deposit form. These forms must be completed before you can select and service a client.

How Do I Create A Micro Call Center Profile?
The Process To Get Started Stage By Stage:

Stage 1
Create A Profile

While proceeding, you will be asked if you were referred to Arise by somebody. Please enter our Agent ID: 891658 and the name JTara Wright (Owner of IMA/IWA) will pop up or the Agent ID of your companion that referred you. By doing this you may qualify for referral incentives!

Also, if you are Military, under “How did you hear about Arise” be sure to choose Military. Military receive special discounts.

After creating your profile you will sign your Arise Non-Disclosure Agreement.

The Profile is the place you enter your essential data, such as contact details and the likes.

*Please note: You MUST use the name that is associated with your Drivers License and Social Security. If you have recently been married or had a name change, you must make sure that your documents have been updated to match your last name before registering.

Stage 2

Choose Innovative Work Alternatives Partner Innovative Marketing Artistry as your IBO. (IWA is a partner company of Innovative Marketing Artistry both IWA & IMA are affiliated and owned by the owner of Innovative Work Alternatives)

During this step, you will be asked to choose an Independent Contractor type, choose “Agent of An Existing Call Center” to partner with. This will allow your business to partner with our business and receive superior support to succeed.

Once you have completed this step you will be prompted to complete the background check. The cost for the background check is $9.99 and is non-refundable.

Once you choose IMA a partner of IWA, you will need to put our IB ID number into the search box (57960) and then click the little magnifying glass next to the search box. Innovative Marketing Artistry will automatically pop up.

Once you have finished this step, log out and send us an email immediately at info@iwagrowth.com so we make sure you’re positioned appropriately.

Stage 3

Sign Documents

Once you have been accepted into the IWA/IMA community, you will need to log in and view and sign the documents. They will be in the same place that you went to join our IBO. Click the orange box “Start Now”:

Following “Start Now” Button, Complete Given Steps Below One by One As Follows:

  • Click View Document (Orange box)
  • Scroll All The Way To The Bottom Of The Document
  • “Sign” Will Then Turn Orange
  • Click Sign
  • Confirm

Once you have signed both documents please send an email to info@iwagrowth.com so we can finalize your request to associate you with Innovative Work Alternatives Partner Innovative Marketing Artistry. Once finalized you can move forward to the next step; choosing a client certification course.

Stage 4

During this step, you will have access to the client board where you can see what projects options exist. You have the flexibility to choose a client program that you would like to consider partnering with. Our clients include many Fortune 500 companies such as major telecommunications, cruise lines, and the world’s largest online retailer.

Client certification courses are typically around 30 days (M-F). Once you certify, you will be offered the opportunity to provide your services to that client and can start work immediately!

The client board changes often so if you don’t see a client that suits you, be patient as something may come up that will match your talents and availability.

Make sure you review the checklist and the technical requirements listed on the Service Opportunity before enrolling.

To have COMPLETE access to the full client portal/work board, you must follow these steps:

1. Choose any client you see and pick a class time and start enrollment (even if you are not ready to enroll or are not interested in that client)

2. On the next page, scroll to the bottom and click “Cancel”. You will be cancelled from enrollment.

3. You can also log out of the portal and back in and click “Resume” on the client course enrollment and then click “Cancel”.

4. You will now have access to the FULL Arise portal.

The client board changes often so if you don’t see a client that suits you, be patient as something may come up that will match your talents and availability.

Also, you should have received an invite to join the IWA Facebook group and/or page. Make sure to join our Facebook page as this is where client important information announcements are made.

What is the difference between NHA and AAPC Certifications?

Both the NHA and AAPC are National Certifying entities. NHA is the acronym for National Healthcareer Association. The AAPC is the acronym for American Academy of Professional Coders. There is no major difference. IWA recommends completion of their curriculum first, which gains you the experience needed for certification with the entities referenced above.

Does it have to be a house phone?

No it doesn’t. However, whether you use a cell phone or landline, it’s your choice to decide.

How much is the course?

We are very economically priced. The course is $899 onetime payment. There are financing options available that you can take advantage of either through our system or via PayPal. If you decide to choose the payment plan through IWA there is no credit check, it’s $400 per month for 3 months. If you decide to consider financing through PayPal, credit restrictions may apply per PayPal’s policy. You may need to contact us directly via email at info@iwagrowth.com to request invoicing via PayPal to take advantage of the PayPal finance options available. NOTE: Prices are subject to change. There may be special promotions from time to time.

Will the Training Cover just Outpatient Billing?

Regarding books, the cost for books needed are very competitively priced. See the following: CPT Professional 2019, ICD-10-CM Expert, ICD-10 PCS Expert are required to complete the course. HCPCS is a supportive book that’s highly recommended as supportive documentation. Total cost for all four books is $240, must place an order of books with IWA by module 5.

Are you limiting your focus on billing only?

Medical coders and medical billing services overlap. Typical medical coders translate medical services into codes, while medical billers translate the claims from these codes into reimbursements from insurance and patients. So IWA will focus more so on the medical billing side of the process.

When would the commission be paid out?

Commission is paid to the MBC Consultant twice a month. Currently the pay rate ranges from 3%-5% of the paid claim. Hourly compensation may apply to certain process methods and would be advised on a case by case situation. However, keep in mind that this is a 1099 position and hourly wage compensation can vary if available at all. Our agents maximize their potential by generating a percentage of the claim which most times is more lucrative.

Can we purchase the book from a local store in our area or is it an online purchase?

There are many Coding and Billing Books available. We highly suggest you purchase your books with IWA because they work in tandem with the courses you will be taking with IWA. We do feel our recommended books are competitively priced.

Can we purchase books elsewhere?

Are group study options available while going through the course?

Absolutely, there’re group study options we implement as needed and suggested. We can also discuss this further and are open to recommendations that may assist you along your learning curve and path.

Can your software select the BEST Code?

The software will make recommendations and supportive code recommendations based on the specialty you’re billing for but it’s the medical billers expertise that ensures that you’re maximizing the claim potential.

How do we connect with doctor providers to work with?

IWA’s organization advisors educated and equip its company to establish a network of Physicians. Everyone works virtually within our organization yet is also affiliated with the Doctor’s office and staff as you will have to confer perhaps with the Office Manager or a specific person to assist as needed. IWA’s goal is to match you up with a Provider(s). Placement with a provider may vary upon course completion and provider workflow availability, however we work diligently to find placement for you.

Multiple Diagnosis codes are common, how do we work around that?

You will be able to find any ICD10 diagnosis code you need either via the manuals that we always recommend you keep handy, the partner software system or via online.

Will you have Group study?

Absolutely, There may be group study options we can suggest, we can surely discuss this further and are open to recommendations that may assist you along your learning curve and path.
